The cultivation area for this great Primitivo is right in the heel of Italy's boot. Dark red in color with intense aromas and a complex bouquet. The Primitivo Appassito is a full-bodied red wine with a velvety soft tannin structure. The hand-picked grapes dry out slightly on the vine, giving the Primitivo the desired aroma concentration. The storage of about 6 months in French oak barrels give it even more intensity. Masso Antico Primitivo Appassito is an extremely full-bodied and dense red wine with soft tannins and fine vanilla notes.

Serve this wine to your guests at a temperature of 16° - 18°C
